The share price reaction suggests that O2 may seal the exclusive deal for iPhone in UK. The iPhone is expected to be on sale in UK by the end of this year or early 2008.  Apple is expected to parter with O2.

 

Although dollar is weak against the Pound Sterling, America’s products were never underpriced in UK. Windows Vista for example was over priced when compared to the price in US. . The dollar is very weak against the pound right now and the iPhone UK RRP will no doubt be comparably higher than the US price.

 

The 4GB iPhone will cost less than £600 and the 8GB one will cost approximately near to £700. The iPhone in Europe will be known as 3G and it will run on a software released only by Apple.

Since UK has an on line dominated market for gadgets, you can buy it on line or if you want to see it personally, you can visit one of the many Apple showrooms in the country.
