There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies.

Your cell phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool
for survival. Check out the things that you can do with your all time companion: your mobile: -

1.EMERGENCY

* The Emergency Number all around the world for **Mobile** is 112 .* If you are out of the coverage area or network and there is an
emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will find any existing network to
search the emergency number for you, and this number
112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. **Try it out.**

2. Locked your keys in the car? Does you car have a remote key?

This will be useful someday. Good reason to own a mobile:
If keys are inside the car and the car is locked, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone to get the spare key.

Hold your mobile about few centimeters(about 10) from your car door and ask the person at your home to press the unlock button, holding it near the cell phone on their end. Your car lock will open. This saves someone from having to drive your keys to you, even if it is thousands of miles away.

3. Battery: Theres Hidden Power!

If you are expecting an important call and your mobile phone is showing ‘low battery’ and you do not have a charger handy, Nokia instrument comes with a hidden/reserve
battery. To activate the reserve battery, press the keys *3370# and your cell will restart with this reserve and the mobile will show a 50% increase in battery. The reserve get charged once you charge your cell phone next time.

4.Disable a STOLEN cell phone.

Check your Cell phone’s serial number. Key in the following digits
on your phone:

* # 0 6 #

A 15 digit code will appear on the screen and this code is unique to
your handset. It’s important to write it down and keep it somewhere safe and easy to find. If your phone is stolen, you can phone your network provider and give them this code.
They will then be able to bar your handset. The thief may have your phone but it will be totally useless even if he/she replaces the SIM card.

Imagine if everybody practices this method, no more mobile thiefs!
